Triangle Project |
| The aim of the Triangle project is to explore the diversity within our musical heritage and how this heritage has travelled around the world with the Diaspora, Trade and more recently International music market. Our Triangular workshops feature three continents and will feature collaboration between these examining contemporary and historical style. |
The workshops will engage people, particularly young people about how music genres from early blues to Hip-Hop have blended from one to another and how these can often be found in the traditions of other cultures |

| Music is our most popular cultural art form, which steps from one generation to the next. To establish a better understanding of popular music and culture we will document, the evolution of the art form, and explore the journey it has taken. | |||||||
| Through this route we will raise awareness of interlinked economic and cultural histories and during 2008 we will explore the contribution made by Africa and the Diaspora to the musical heritage of the UK |
Our projects will be facilitated by highly respected musicians from the field of International World Music Collaborations. |
